Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated 20 October 2026 · Effective from 20 October 2026
This policy explains what happens when you cancel or change a booking on Safarify, and when the host, the weather or the authorities cancel an experience.
It forms part of our Terms & Conditions. Where they differ on cancellations or refunds, this policy applies.
1. If you cancel
Once a booking is confirmed, it is non-refundable if you cancel it.
Not turning up for an experience (a no-show) is treated the same way as cancelling: no refund is due.
2. Rescheduling
You can move a confirmed booking to another date or time of the same experience once, free of charge, up to the cut-off shown on the experience page before you book.
The new date or time must have space available. After the cut-off, the booking can no longer be rescheduled.
3. If the host, the weather or the authorities cancel
You get a full refund of what you paid if:
- the host cancels the experience;
- the experience cannot go ahead safely because of weather or natural events; or
- an order or advisory from the authorities stops it going ahead.
Where another date is available, you may be offered it instead. The choice is yours.
4. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method. How long they take to show depends on your bank or card provider.
